I want to let you all know what’s been going on with our family the past few weeks. My now two-year-old son, Rowan, who was in the hospital for a significant part of last year, stopped breathing at home suddenly about three weeks ago and just had major airway surgery on Monday. He is going to be fine, but I will be busy with him until he recovers. The doctors say he should be able to go home sometime in mid to late April and I will be with him in the hospital until that time. We are grateful to still have him with us and are hopeful that this will mark the end of his long healing journey and that he will be able to breathe normally and safely. Thank you very much for supporting us and my journalistic project during this difficult time.
